Terms of Service

The agreement between you and CV263.

These Terms govern your use of CV263, operated by Fignoc Technologies, Harare, Zimbabwe. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

CV263 lets you build, edit, preview and download CVs and cover letters, with optional AI writing help, job-tailoring and career tools. Some features are limited to paid plans.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate details and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person, except on the Agent plan, which is designed for creating CVs on behalf of clients.

3. Plans, billing & no auto-renew

  • We offer Free, Standard, Premium and Agent plans. Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars.
  • Paid access is a manual window — 30 days (“monthly”) or 365 days (“annual”). It does not renew automatically. When it ends, your account simply returns to the Free plan until you choose to extend.
  • Payments are processed by Paynow (EcoCash, OneMoney, Visa or Mastercard). We never auto-charge you.
  • Because access is granted immediately, payments for time already unlocked are generally non-refundable. If something goes wrong with a payment, contact us and we’ll help.

4. Acceptable use

  • Use CV263 only for lawful purposes. Don’t misuse, disrupt or attempt to break the service.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put in your CV. AI features help you phrase your real experience — do not use them to invent qualifications, jobs or results you don’t have.
  • On the Agent plan, only build CVs using information your client has given you and has consented to your using.

5. Your content

You own the content you put into your CVs and cover letters. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process and render that content so we can provide the service to you (for example, generating a PDF or running an AI suggestion you requested). Our templates, designs, software and branding remain our property.

6. AI & no guarantee of results

AI suggestions are aids, not professional advice, and may not always be perfect — always review them before use. CV263 helps you present yourself well, but we do not guarantee interviews, jobs or any specific outcome.

7. Referral programme

You can earn a free month of access when someone you referred makes their first payment. Rewards are for genuine referrals only — self-referrals, fake accounts or other abuse may result in rewards being withheld and accounts suspended.

8. Availability & changes

We aim to keep CV263 running smoothly but provide it “as is”. We may add, change or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CV263 and Fignoc Technologies are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Zimbabwean law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
